The Joys of Little Boys

Thursdays I put Ramsey down for his nap and I was straiting things up. I was in the guest bath downstairs and noticed an empty toilet paper roll that looked wet behind the sink. I took a closer look to see if a pipe was leaking. I looked around and noticed the little trash can had liquid in it. Actually about 1/8 full of liquid. I poured it into the sink only to discover it was urine. What in the world? I stopped and realized Ramsey had been using the little trash can as his own personal urinal. There was his little potty in there so why had he used the trash can?

When he woke from his nap I asked him about it and he said "it's just my new potty mom" I asked him why he wasn't using his kid potty and he said "because the tee tee was going everywhere". I realized now that he is getting bigger the little potty is further away and it is harder to aim at so the trash can being taller was a perfect solution for him. Needless to say he solved his own issue without help. Should I be proud?

We have since had a good laugh and put the kid potty away. Only the regular potty and a step stool from now own. You just never know what interesting things you'll find these days in the Rowell house or at least in our trash cans!

Ha!! You should definitely be proud of him for solving his problem....so funny. If it makes you feel better, Caroline tried to stand and pee "like daddy" a couple weeks ago...not good.
