Where have we been?

On VACATION!!!! What What!!! Yes, we just got back from a 4 day trip to Destin, Fl. with our buddies. Back in January Cope and I decided it would be fun to get our group of friends that we we stationed at Ft.Drum, NY together for a fun trip. The guys had all been deployed to Iraq together and us girls got close since we were all in the same boat of missing our men. It was so nice to see everyone and we had a awesome time. Seriously the most relaxing, best vacation I can remember ever having. My sister and her boyfriend Jay cam along too and they were a nice addition to the group as well.

This was an adults only trip and since we were the only ones with a kid so far we asked Cope's parents to keep Ramsey for the long weekend. Of course they were thrilled, which I love. We had no problems getting off and in fact he said "I stay here, you go" when we got to their house to drop him and the dogs off. He had a blast and even though I missed him very much it was fun for us all to take a little break from the real world and knowing he was in great hands made it easy to not worry about him. Our House "Stairway to Hammock Heaven". There were 4 sitting hammocks at the very top and it was SO RELAXING. The house was awesome and perfect for our size group. Now we are home and back to the real world but if that means having a WILD and incredibly cute 2 year old running my life, I'll take it!!! Life is good and I am so thankful for the good friends we've made and kept along the way.
