NEW PICTURES!!! (finally)
So it has been 2 whole years since we've had our pictures done professionally and I couldn't stand it anymore. I told cope this was important to me since Ramsey has changed so much and he got on board with my wish. So our photographer and friend Brandy ( at www.bshirleyphotography.com ) captured our family pictures. I am always so pleased with he work and don't see how she manages to get pictures of Ramsey smiling but she does and I am GRATEFUL! These pictures were taken out at my Mom's lake house and it was a perfect afternoon with all the fall colors in their glory. Here are just some of my favorites from the shoot:

Ramsey's 3rd Birthday
We celebrated Ramsey's birthday on the 11th at a local gym in Cartersville. It is a tumbling and gymnastics center called Devil Rays and they had blow up jumpys and it ended up being great for kids of all ages and even the adults. Cope was sore the next day from playing so hard. We ended up having 34 kids come and along with their parents it ended up being quite a big event. Ramsey got so many gifts we had to take them home and he has been opening gifts all this past week. Toys are EVERYWHERE!

Polar Express!
We headed to Chattanooga, TN last night to ride the Polar Express to the North Pole to pick up Santa. We went with our friends Kelly and Tom and their son Ty (AKA Ramsey's best buddy) and our other friends Jim and Jenn and their two kids Nate and Emily. We left town about 4:30 stopped for dinner and then made it to the train in time. We had great seats on the train and everyone enjoyed it! We heard the story of the polar express the kids got cookies and chocolate milk and then we hit the north pole to get SANTA! Santa got on and visited with each kid. Ramsey went right to to and smiled for the picture like it was his job. He asked Santa for a "race car" and was so proud of himself. After we got back to the depot and we're about to get off the train he said "but where is my race car?" He is so used to instant gratification he doesn't quite get the the waiting until Christmas concept. I guess that is in part due to my awesome parenting. Anyway, it was a good little evening of Christmas magic for the kids and anything we can do to make out little charge smile, we're in!

Cookie Boy
My Mom watches Ramsey 2 days a week and when she does she pretty much does whatever Ramsey wants to do. So if he wants to make cookies, it shall be done! He apparently is on a big gingerbread cookie kick lately (remember that is what he wanted to take for his birthday at preschool). Each afternoon he comes home with a whole bag full of cookies. I am currently looking at 3 bags on my counter. I am sure have some redeeming nutritional value right? is is bad if your kid eats like 3 a day? Oh well, I just can't worry about that today. Maybe he'll get a vegetable kick next. Ha Ha :)

Ramsey's Birthday
Ramsey celebrated his Birthday at preschool on Friday. Here is is sitting next to his best "gwirl" Annabelle. These two sit this close and in the same place everyday at snack time. His teachers say their a item.
I asked Ramsey is he wanted me to bring cupcakes or just cake to his class and he said "umm, I think I just want gingerbread cookies and cheetos". What the birthday boy wants the birthday boy gets. My wonderful and talented Mom made Ramsey gingerbread cookies in the shapes or R's and 3's and I provided the Cheetos.

Later that Day we headed to Augusta, GA for Cope's military ball. Normally we would have left Ramsey home with one of his grandmothers but since his Birthday was Saturday I just had to bring him with us. Thank goodness I did because he woke up in the middle of the night throwing up all over the bed we were in. He proceeded to throw up 5 more time through out the night so we all got about 4 hours of sleep. I was glad he was with us so I could take care of him. Besides being tired he was acting fine so we gave him his presents that morning:

After breakfast I took him to target to get new PJ's since his had vomit on them and let him pick out a few little cars. He basically got spoiled rotten all day but he was so sweet in return.
We had a great weekend and I enjoyed being with Ramsey so much. Cope was pretty busy with his meetings so Ramsey and I we're buddies most of the weekend. It was so nice to just be with him and fully present. When we are at home I feel like I am always going 100 miles per hour (I am!) so it was nice to take a time out and truly be with Ramsey. So on his 3rd birthday I was more grateful then ever for my little buddy. I am a lucky Mommy!

Christmas Parade
Cartersville had their annual Christmas parade this past Thursday so we bundled up and headed downtown. I can't stand crowds and avoid them when possible but when it comes to my child I'll take one for the team. We found a little spot and waited for the parade to begin.
